Ghost Tour Press Release

Get Ghoulish this Fall on Two Creepy New Walks Scared Up by the Denver Walking Tours Team

(Denver, CO) – As the weather chills and summer dies off, it’s an opportune time to experience a historic ghost tour with one of Denver Walking Tours’ (DWT) experienced guides. The walking ghost tours take guests back to a time of Denver history filled with superstition and ghoulish legend.  Guides lead two separate tours as you explore historic – and many say haunted – Capitol Hill or the LoDo area, bringing you tales of spirits who linger in the mist and are well documented in Denver’s history books. A glowing ghost necklace will protect you from the spirits but be sure to keep an eye out for low flying bats. The Ghosts of Capitol Hill Tour is offered Friday and Saturday evenings in October starting at just $17 per person, the most affordable price in town. Private group bookings for the Ghosts of Capitol Hill and the Haunted Downtown Denver Tour are also available year-round.

The Capitol Hill Tour tells the infamous ghost tales of our city including spooky stories of a hidden burial room that inspired a Hollywood movie, angry apparitions, spirit wanderings, grisly accidents and one of Denver’s most haunted locations: Cheesman Park. Believers and skeptics alike are welcome to join DFWT’s creepy and entertaining guides. The two hour tour is suitable for ghouls and humans ages 12 and up.

During October, the Ghosts of Capitol Hill Tour departs from the southeast corner of Gilpin St. and 13th Ave. on the north side of Cheesman Park at 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays.  Priced at $15 per person, it’s the most affordable option in town.

Sherry Moon, one of DWT’s top guides, says, “With our historically-based ghost tours, we look forward to bringing chills to your arms and spine tingling fun! You may be a skeptic when you start but we’ll have you convinced by the end of your walk that Denver is full of spirits from times long ago.”

Will you see a roaming spirit, poltergeist or ghost? Join DWT for an adventure into the unknown!
