This has been a kid, teacher and chaperone favorite the past year and is great for teaching about concepts like diversity, collaboration, respect, community, self-expression and identity (not to mention art, current events and history!) in a really fun, interactive, relevant and engaging way.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: No refunds are available once payment is finalized for our youth tours but there may be an option to transfer to other dates with 14+ days advanced notice and tours are rescheduled if there are extreme/dangerous weather conditions.

Denver Walking Tours offers several educational walking tours that work well for elementary school field trips, including Mile High Highlights for Youth, Discover Denver on Foot, the Famous Street Art & Murals Youth Experience and Denver's Secret Spots & Hidden History. Tours range from approximately 60 to 90 minutes hours and can be selected based on students' ages, interests, group size, and curriculum goals. The 2.5 hour VIP tour is a litttle long for elementary age students.
Our youth tours explore downtown Denver, Civic Center, LoDo, and RiNo while combining local history, landmarks, public art, and stories that keep students engaged.

Our Denver youth tours are designed for a wide range of ages and can be tailored to different student groups. For elementary students, we generally recommend the shorter 60-75 minute or 90-minute tours. The longer 2- to 2.5-hour experiences can be better suited to older students.
